Is there a mobile app?

Yes. No App Store. Open app.payfriend.io, and put Payfriend on the home screen, start screen or Dock. The path depends on your device.

Yes. Payfriend is not in the App Store or Google Play. You install it from the browser, so it gets its own icon and opens full screen.

You can scan receipts, swipe bookkeeping and reconciliation, and get push when something is waiting.

Open app.payfriend.io and sign in. Do not use the marketing site payfriend.io.

In the app, the Payfriend as an app card sits under Settings → Notifications. Pick the path for your device.

iPhone and iPad (Safari or Chrome)

Requires iOS 16.4 or later.

  1. Open app.payfriend.io in Safari or Chrome

  2. Tap Share (square with an arrow). In Safari at the bottom. In Chrome next to the address bar

  3. Choose Add to Home Screen. Scroll the menu if you do not see it

  4. Open Payfriend from the home screen. It opens as an app

Push on iPhone and iPad only works once you open from the home screen. Turn it on under Settings → Notifications. See Notifications.

Android phone and Android tablet (Chrome)

  1. Open app.payfriend.io in Chrome

  2. Tap Install Payfriend as an app if the button is there

  3. Otherwise: the browser menu (⋮) → Install Payfriend or Add to home screen

  4. Open Payfriend from the home screen

Windows PC (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Open app.payfriend.io in Chrome or Edge

  2. Click Install Payfriend as an app if the button is there

  3. Otherwise: menu (⋮) → Install Payfriend. There may also be an install icon in the address bar

  4. Payfriend opens in its own window. The icon lands in the Start menu

Mac

Safari (macOS Sonoma or later):

  1. Open app.payfriend.io in Safari

  2. File in the menu bar at the top

  3. Add to Dock. Confirm the name

  4. Open Payfriend from the Dock. It gets its own window

Chrome or Edge: the same steps as on Windows.
