With Overførselsservice, Payfriend can pay Danish DKK bills the next banking day, without anyone logging into the bank per bill.
In Payfriend it is labelled Automatic Payment. MitID is only used when you create the agreement at Mastercard.
If your bank has only given Payfriend read access (typically Lunar and several savings banks), this is how you pay from Payfriend.
Before you start
MitID Erhverv — the agreement must be signed by the people authorised on the bank account
A Danish account with a registration and account number (not IBAN only)
1. Open Mastercard from Payfriend
Go to Settings → Payments. Open Automatic Payment, and choose Open Mastercard.
Copy the data supplier number on the page: 46176847. That is NextLab — not Payfriend’s CVR.
2. Create a new agreement
You land on overfoerselsservice.mastercard.com.
Choose Create a new agreement — even if you already have one for payroll.
Sign in with MitID Erhverv.
Fill in the company and the Danish account the money should leave from.
Data supplier: No. Choose Other, and enter 46176847.
Sign.
The bank often approves the same day or the next business day. Mastercard charges a one-off fee (DKK 749) and a monthly subscription — those are Mastercard’s prices, not Payfriend’s.
The agreement is only ready when the bank has approved and you have activated it in Payfriend.
3. Activate in Payfriend
Return to Settings → Payments.
Choose I have applied.
When the bank has approved: check CVR, pick the settlement account, and choose Activate.
The Open Banking feed is not the same as Overførselsservice.
Status should be Active.
4. Pay bills
Open Bills. Danish DKK bills to a reg. + account number can be queued — one or several at a time. No MitID per invoice. The money leaves the next banking day.
IBAN, foreign currency and payment slips still go via Open Banking.
Payfriend sets up the technical connection to Mastercard. You do not do that yourself.
Problems?
The bank does not approve: contact your bank.
No Danish account to pick: connect an account with a registration and account number.
Approved at Mastercard, but it does not work in Payfriend: check that status is Active. Otherwise message us in chat.
