Understanding your dashboard

The dashboard surfaces what needs you: bills, documents, bank, and sales — so you know what’s left to be up to date.

Written by Nicki Elgaard

The dashboard is your overview of tasks and key figures in Payfriend: what’s waiting, what’s running automatically, and where you stand on documents, bank, and sales. It doesn’t replace reports in e-conomic/Dinero/Billy — it shows Payfriend work.

Why it matters

Without a single overview you drown in tabs and inboxes. The dashboard points to what needs action so you can get up to date in minutes (often via mobile swipe).

What you typically see

Content depends on modules and data, but often:

  • Waiting tasks — bills, documents, bank items, approvals

  • Key figures — e.g. outstanding invoices, unmatched items, cash-related numbers

  • Recent activity — bookings, matches, payments (see also Activity)

  • VAT — access to VAT overview as its own module when enabled

Sidebar badges (Bills, Bank, Documents) often mirror the same “needs attention” queues.
